A fluid-filled swelling that usually appears on the inner lip or floor of the mouth. It is caused by trauma or obstruction to a minor salivary gland duct. Dr. Church will diagnose and determine the best approach, which may include simple surgical removal. Mucoceles commonly reoccur and may need to be removed multiple times.
